Step 1: open the correct test
Access the list of tests, select the stage and enter the hub. This starting point ensures that all data used in the analysis is from the same competition.
Step 2: Apply filters before comparing
Filter by division and category to avoid distorted comparisons. This step improves the quality of the diagnosis from the beginning.
Step 3: select up to 4 athletes in the comparison
In the comparative graphics module, choose the athletes and see hit factor, time and points per stage. Focus on the most consistent differences, not just isolated peaks.
Step 4: validate profile on the radar chart
Use the radar to understand competitive profile: HF average, best and worst track, general consistency. It helps to see performance patterns in a single view.
Step 5: close with time x points correlation
Analyze the correlation to decide training priority: accelerate while maintaining points, or adjust precision before increasing pace. This closure transforms comparison into a technical plan.

Frequently asked questions
How many athletes can I compare?
Up to 4 athletes simultaneously in the same view per match.
Is this flow suitable for beginners?
Yes. The step-by-step guide was designed for practical use, even without advanced knowledge of statistics.
What is the most common error in comparison?
Compare athletes without filtering division and category. This reduces the quality of the conclusion.
How to turn comparison into training?
Identify 1 to 2 recurring bottlenecks and track progress by test, using the same metrics.
Do I need to login to check test results?
Most IPSC consultations and guidance are public. Import and management flows use login.scoring.services; what is open without registration is in /pages/ipsc-results.
Can I share the already filtered comparison?
Yes. After choosing division and athletes, copy the link from the address bar: it maintains the filters, so whoever opens it sees the same comparison. Form shortcut: /tools.
