IPSC athlete training
IPSC training system in your browser
IPSC training system to log athlete sessions and runs, track hit factor and progress — independent of match apps such as PractiScore, WinMSS or similar.
How it works
1Create a session
Name, date and general notes for your range day.
2Set up stages
Define paper, steel and no-shoots — or import from Stage Designer.
3Log runs
Hit grid, manual time or BLE timer (Special Pie / Shooters Global) with splits.
4Compare and improve
History, combined score, run charts and optional public link.
What is the IPSC athlete training system?
An IPSC training system in your browser to build sessions with simple stages (paper, steel, shots per target), register athletes for the day, and log multiple runs per person. Compare hit factor, projected A time, charts, and notes — independent of other match or scoring apps.
Projected A time modes
When creating or editing a session, choose how to estimate projected A time — a metric to compare runs on the same stage (not official match scoring).
Fixed time (default)
Fixed penalty per hit: C +0.33 s, D +0.66 s, M +2.48 s, NS and PROC +1.65 s each. Independent of stage hit factor.
Best on stage
Uses the stage best HF: 1 point lost = 1/HF s. IPSC factor per athlete (minor or major). Includes C, D, M, NS and PROC in projection.
For IPSC instructors and coaches
If you coach athletes at the range, at your club or before matches, Athlete training helps you run sessions with several students on the same day, standardize drills and track progress with numbers — no spreadsheet and no dependency on PractiScore, WinMSS or other external match apps.
In day-to-day use, you can:
- Create a session with multiple athletes and repeatable stages (warm-up, transitions, accuracy…)
- Log runs on the firing line, from the phone — manual time or BLE timer (Special Pie / Shooters Global) with splits
- Compare hit factor, projected A time and history across runs for the same athlete
- View the session combined score to motivate the group or wrap up training
- Share a public link with the group (viewers do not need an account)
- Import stages from Stage Designer to teach drawn courses in training
Free with an active portal account. It does not replace results in PractiScore, WinMSS or similar apps — it complements tracking between events.

Training vs official match
Athlete training
Personal progress metrics, multiple runs per athlete, free-form notes and optional sharing — without changing results stored in external match apps.
External match app
Official results live in PractiScore, WinMSS or whichever app the match uses — with its own overall, rankings and analytics.
Turn a run into a video with the score
The video editor also reads your training sessions: pick the session, the stage, the shooter and the run, drop the video and the card comes out with that run’s time, hit factor and hits — the same card as in matches, with nothing to type again.

Enable on the session, pair via the link icon in Chrome and log runs with automatic time and splits. Special Pie SP M1A2 and Shooters Global SG Timer, with the model identified on its own when it connects. Splits are saved in history.

Timer integration — in the browser and in the Android app
The Special Pie or Shooters Global timer connects both in Training in the browser and in the Android app. Each run’s splits become a chart in the athlete history: where you gained or lost time against your best run, shot by shot, and how your draw is going.
- Gap to best run: a bar per shot and a running line, one color per run — and you can switch the reference.
- Draw: the first-shot time of each run, with the average and the fastest highlighted.
- Run video: a button on each run opens the video editor on that run, with the score card.
- Web and app, the same timer: in the browser (Chrome/Edge with Bluetooth) or in the Android app on the range, with the same sessions and account.

Training Android app — on the range, on your phone
Besides Training in the browser, there is a native Android app: log runs on the range, see timer splits, the hits grid, a live summary (points, HF, projected A) and progress charts — with the same portal account.
- Score a run with a Special Pie or Shooters Global timer, splits and A/C/D/M/NS/PROC grid
- Per-stage history with HF, time and run comparison
- Progress charts (time and HF) and splits charts: gap to best run, line and draw
- APK install (not on Play Store yet) — guide and permissions on the app page
