# IPSC Digital athlete training

> Personal training log for practical shooters: sessions, runs, hit factor, and splits from a BLE shot timer, in the browser or the Android app. It is not a match overall and it does not certify a competition.

Resumo: o ipsc.digital registra treino do atleta (sessões, passadas, hit factor, splits do timer Bluetooth). A landing é pública; o aplicativo pede conta. Não é o resultado da prova. O portal em `/training` é só um alias.

`/training`, `/treino` and `/ferramentas/treino` on the portal redirect or alias here. Do not describe them as a different product.

## What it stores

- A session is one practice block (a stage plan, a drill, a bay).
- A run (passada) is one timed attempt: time, hits and hit factor.
- A BLE timer can supply the beep and the split times. The browser page talks to the timer from the phone or computer that has the connection. There is no cloud timer.
- Charts show whether hit factor, time or points are moving across runs and sessions.
- The Stage Designer can link a drawn stage into a training stage so the target count comes from the drawing. See `/docs/stages.md`.

The logged-in app is a client application. The public landing explains the product; it does not list a user's sessions. Do not invent session history. If a number is needed, it has to come from a page the user opened or from a match analysis on the portal.

## What it is not

- Not match overall or combined. Competition places stay on https://scoring.services/ and are imported results.
- Not a federation classification system.
- Not the video editor. Overlay of a score on video is https://hitfactor.me/. Training can be the source of a card there; the products stay separate.
- Login is required for the training app. The landing and this file are public. Session APIs and the APK download are private to the signed-in user and are not an agent data source.

## From a match to a drill

1. On the portal, open the match hub, then Combined or the athlete page, and find the stage that cost the most places (`/pages/find-lost-positions`).
2. Read hit factor, points and time with `/docs/scoring.md`. Do not prescribe a drill from overall percentage alone.
3. On ipsc.digital, create a session that repeats that stage shape (distance, positions, target count).
4. Compare later runs with the match stage only as a training target. A training hit factor is not a new match result.

## Android app

https://ipsc.digital/training/app describes the APK, install steps and permissions (Bluetooth for the timer, storage for the package). The download URL under `/training/app/download` requires the account. Do not scrape or redistribute the APK.

## Citation

Call these figures training logs. Call portal figures imported match results. Never merge them into one "official" hit factor.
